Soul Calibur VI: Barefoot Sophitia is BACK!

Sophitia jumps back into the fight feet first...

Soul Calibur VI just got revealed recently, and this early we got nice foot-age of the lovely Sophitia Alexandra fighting bare-legged and barefooted in-game. Armor breaks are back, and thankfully its Sophie who demonstrates this feature, getting her armored leggings shattered off to reveal her silky long legs and feet (as opposed to us seeing Mitsurugi's silky legs and feet...). There's quite a bit of barefoot Sophie in the 10-minute or so clip, so enjoy it, even if the subtitles do get in the way occasionally.

My only gripes of course is that, well, SC's character models have never had good, detailed foot models. The shape is off, sometimes a bit to narrow or small, the toes are edged and polygonal, and there are no skin textures to speak of. With Tekken 7 having the best-looking bare feet, toes and soles I've seen in gaming yet, hopefully Soul Calibur will follow suit. They are using Unreal Engine 4 as well after all.

No word either on if Character Creation will return, but I'm sure that the devs would be insane to take off such a mega-popular feature. It is awesome at least we get to see barefoot babes in this just-announced game so early. AND its coming to PC as well.

The game is set for release sometime in 2018. Here's to it coming sooner, rather than later. For now, enjoy the video!

Tekken 7 (PC): Best Videogame Soles Ever?

New Tekken beauty Josie Rizal shows she's got SOLE.

TEKKEN 7 HAS ARRIVED!

DAAAAAAMN it was a freakin' long wait. Indeed, we've been waiting since 2012 for a good, proper Tekken game. Yes, even if Tekken Tag Tournament 2 was overall a disappointment with its downgraded Character Customization and the shortage of barefoot customizations, it DID give us the sexy, barefoot Angel and Unknown, plus let us have a shoeless (and definitely female) Leo Kliesen. After that came the rather barren Tekken Revolution, and we chafed for a real Tekken game to arrive and treat us with proper sexy barefoot brawling.

Now it's here! Tekken 7 is now out for Xbox One, PS4 (and PS4 PRO) and PC. The game looks AMAZING, and is surely the most gorgeous-looking Tekken ever, and certainly a superior port. Huge, detailed character models moving at silky-smooth 60FPS with the most refined fighting action ever in the series are on offer here, and a host of lovely ladies to de-boot with Character Customization. We can, right?

Well, as we've been mentioning for all these past weeks, the Character Customization in Tekken 7 is a mixed bag. Yes, it's very similar to Tekken Tag 2's dumbed-down customs, with the bottoms lumped together with footwear and with most items being common to everyone save a few unique items. But thankfully for us footfans, there are barefoot options for pretty much everyone. The bad news is that half of the Tekken Girls will apparently need to wait a bit for the barefoot Tropical Bikini costumes to be added later as DLC.

Be sure to watch the vids in 60FPS HD to see these sexy babes best...

As of right now though, we have three beautiful brawlers' soles to enjoy- our favorite leg model Lili Rochefort, adorable android Alisa Bosconovitch, sassy Brazilian Katarina Alves, Filipina cutie Josie Rizal and the peppy Lucky Chloe. Katarina is the only one with a full-body swimsuit costume as of yet, which is probably the sexiest outfit in the game. But of course, my fave is still Lili with her rather flashy Bikini Skirt (legs for DAYS!).

And I can readily say, Tekken 7 has easily the best-looking, sexiest feet and soles EVER in the series. The ladies' toes and soles look amazing, lifelike and detailed, and look great even up close (and the camera gets quite close in many of the moves and attacks, thanks to a very energetic camera).  Lots of nice, pause-worthy moments... which makes the 60FPS animation such a godsend. Heh...

So far the fighting action is great, and the videos are already online at the Youtube Channel. Tekken 7 is sure to be a mainstay with us from here on, along with our other favorite fighters. And we're hoping it only gets better from here. Hopefully we get Asuka and the other babes out of their boots and showing sole soon enough.

We see countless barefoot brawls and sexy KOs to come!

For now though, enjoy the vids. Have you got your Tekken 7 yet? Get yours now!

Confirmed Barefoot Customizations in Tekken 7 (Home Version)

Tekken 7 is OUT! Well, actually, it isn't officially... but some places, like Peru, have broken street date and not a lot of gamers are streaming Namco-Bandai's latest and greatest KOIFT game online and spoiling things for impatient Tekken fans the world over.

Well, we have to wait a few days more for the release of the PC version, but I think it'll be worth it. I did take a look at some non-spoilery vids, such as the one above. It shows off the currently-available customizations for most (Eliza not included) of the fighters in the game. I say 'currently' because it is quite obvious that many items which exist in the arcade version (and should by all rights be in the home game as well) as as yet missing. These include the swimsuits (including the all-important Tropical Bikini) for both females and males. I assume these items will be added post-launch by a patch, or offered as DLC content; the Season Pass after all mentions 'more additional costumes'.

That aside though, all is not lost. There ARE barefoot customizations for our lovely Tekken babes available in the game out of the box, although not for all of them. So who got left out of the bus and who will be barefootin' it on Tekken 7's launch week?

The Bad News first- Asuka Kazama, Nina Williams, Master Raven, Kazumi Mishima and Ling Xiaoyu (and Leo Kliesen if you still consider the character female) all have NO unique barefoot customization options as of yet. I'm really not sure why that is so- does the Tekken Team draw lotteries to see who can go barefoot or not in every Tekken game? Is there some sort of unwritten law? It can't be by age with Asuka and Ling being grouped with the other ladies... I really can't figure it out.

Anyway, the Good News: Lili Rochefort, Alisa Bosconovitch, Lucky Chloe, Josie Rizal and Katarina Alves each have one barefoot customization option.

Alisa has a barefooted skirt called the 'Peach Beach Skirt'.

Josie Rizal and Lucky Chloe both have P1 Bare Feet customization, allowing them to go shoeless in their default bottoms.

Sassy Katarina has a full-body customization called 'No Summer Dress', which refers to her Summer Dress oufit. Equipping No Summer Dress leaves Kat in just a fancy two-piece swimsuit and her sexy, lethal bare feet.

Finally, Lili has her uber-sexy 'High Class Bikini Skirt', a lower body customization which pretty much goes perfectly with any top. This pretty much shoots up her hotness waaay over Asuka (who is just a frumpy hag compared to her hahaha). Can you say upskirts every time she moves? LOL

So out of the box, about half of the female cast can go barefoot- half can't. That should be remedied by the addition of the Tropical Bikini costume, which we may have to wait for a bit. But thankfully, even this early I can easily say that at least Tekken 7 is miles away a much better game for footfans than Tekken Tag 2 was, and thanks to the sexier outfits, a notch above our longtime favorite, Tekken 6.

Man, I can't wait for June 2! Have you preordered your Tekken 7 yet?

Fable Legends: Evienne (Xbox One, PC)

Evienne's a feisty heroine who's ready to slice and dice!

It's been a while since I last featured Fable Legends, but yes, this game is still on my radar despite it being an online, multiplayer action game. That's of course because it's got some quite fetching barefoot babes in its roster of heroes. The first one I featured was the frosty but fun Winter, that lovely lady with the cold spells and chilly bare soles that left nice, icy footprints wherever she scampered to. But since then, the game has gotten a few more characters to try to save Albion with, including another shoeless female to admire.

Evienne is a fair, young maiden whose fate it was to be the caretaker of a powerful, legendary magical sword Brobdingnagian (Brob for short). Her duty was to wait for a worthy hero to come along and present the weapon to. But one day, Evie thought, why should she spend her time waiting in some silly lake for some idiot hero when she could go find adventure on her own? With that, she claimed the sword for her own and set off to make her own legend. Now if that isn't an awesome backstory, I don't know what is. Heheh.

Anyway, Evienne may look like a little wisp of a girl, but she's a deadly force on the battlefield. Wielding Brob, she swings it in wide arcs, dealing death to any enemy in her way. But that's not all- her language is pretty striking as well. Really, this girl seems a ton of fun.

Now, aside from her quite lovely character art above, I've found a couple of nice clips of Evie in action (from this year's E3 Expo) and embedded it below for viewing. I do intend to get this game when it becomes available, and have my own vids of Evie (and Winter) in action eventually. For now though, the clip shows off some nice action, though it is kinda hard to get good views. At least, we do get to see a nice KO at the end...

Evienne gameplay at E3 2015.

More Evienne gameplay (and with some slightly better clarity).

I really wish that this game gave us better views, and had nicer character models. But hey, it still looks fun and the babes are really cool (especially Winter... heheh), so I'll be waiting for this when it comes out. For now, enjoy the videos!

Poison Ivy: Batman Arkham Knight

Lots of Ivy to admire in the video above!

Since Batman: Arkham Asylum, we've all become particular fans of one awesome villainess in the Batman Rogue Gallery- one Pamela Isely, AKA Poison Ivy. Many think that the Arkham games revitalized the Batman franchise in gaming thanks to the gritty graphics, the expansive stages or perhaps the fluid combat... but we all know the real reason is because it gave us HOT Barefoot Poison Ivy. Heheh. You just know that the developers knew what Ivy's assets are (since they can't really show bare green boobs)- hot, sexy bare legs and feet, and the camera easily focuses on them every time Miss Isely appears.

Sadly, after an awesome debut in Arkham Asylum, Poison Ivy was relegated to pretty much a cameo in Arkham City (but still, at least we got some good views). How will she fare in the upcoming Batman: Arkham Knight?

Unfortunately, it doesn't seem like her part is too big- despite being shown in one of the earlier trailers as one of the bat-baddies released by The Scarecrow to take on Batman, it has been revealed in a recently-posted 7-minute trailer ('To Go to War' Trailer), which we have posted above, that Ivy does not join the ranks of Scarecrow's allies. Because of this, she is taken prisoner and has to be 'rescued' (or at least, taken into custody) by Batman in one of his missions. After battling through several thugs, Ivy is freed and there is a nice cutscene  with all the lovely views we expect of green legs and feet. Mmmm...
Sadly, it seems that this may be the extent of Ivy's participation in the game. The video ends with her being taken back to the Gotham Holding Cells, and unless something more happens, that may be the end of her role. I can't believe this though- did they just basically spoil her entire part in a trailer? Is that all? Really? What a waste of an awesome villainess!

Now, I am hoping that I am wrong and that Ivy somehow breaks out again and does more stuff. Or at least I hope we see more of her in the game rather than just the scenes shown above. Otherwise, well... all I can say is, enjoy the video! There are wonderful views of the new and updated Ivy. I just hope there's more. We'll see though, when the game is released later this month.

Maya Retro Costume is HERE! (Killer Instinct, Xbox One)

The Barefoot Jungle Queen is back!

It's been a grueling months-long wait, but finally, FINALLY, we've got barefoot Maya back in Killer Instinct, as she should be. No more of that armored stranger we had before- the proper Maya, unshod Amazon Warrior Queen that she is, has retaken the throne. Heheh. Anyways, the Classic/Retro Maya outfit isn't exact to the original, but I've come to love it just the same. She certainly looks to me like the hottest babe in the game now, certainly hotter than Orchid. So well, she may be the only barefoot babe in the game for the foreseeable future, but heck- I think she's worth it. Check out the vids and enjoy Maya's bare, sexy (and strangely dainty) soles in action. I'll most probably post more vids of her on the channel soon.

Orchid would have stood a better chance if she took off her boots...

Jungle Girl Returns: Maya Retro Costume Revealed (Killer Instinct)

FINALLY Maya's classic look emerges on Xbox One.

It's been a long wait (and it isn't over) but at least we've finally seen the end reward for us on the Xbox One brawler, Killer Instinct. Ever since the start of the game's Second Season, we've been waiting for the lovely Amazon Maya to show off her sexy, deadly feet in combat, but time and again we've been met by disappointment. First off was the blasted 'reimagining' thing that turned her from a beautiful barefoot warrior queen to some armored Brazilian fury. When her alternate accessories came out, NONE of them had any barefoot options. STRIKE TWO! Well, thankfully with the latest textual stream, the devs at Iron Galaxy revealed her upcoming Retro Costumes and Premium Accessory sets.

Well, to be honest I am weirded out by her hair, and by the somewhat goofy frills on the bottom of her top- but hey, at least she's barefoot. Those metallic things on her limbs could really just go, but hey, as long as they give us Maya's bare toes and soles, I'm happy.

Maya's Retro Costume should arrive within the month, with Update 2.3 of the game. I'll surely post vids of our returned Jungle Girl once she becomes available.

Sunset Overdrive (Xbox One)

Say hello to my barefoot heroine in Sunset Overdrive, Hayley Hotfoot!

It's not often that a non-fighting game becomes a total favorite of mine- after all, barefoot female characters often appear best in fighters since these games are very character-centric and by default give nice closeup views of our babes (and their sexy soles and toes). But every so often a non-beat 'em up surprises me. It's happened in some Tomb Raider titles, Skyrim and some others. Now, it has happened again, and with a Next-Gen (well, Now-Gen by now) game at that. I think this may indeed be the first true Next-Gen Barefoot Babe game to have.

The Adventures of Hayley Hotfoot begin here!

The game is, of course, Sunset Overdrive, an exclusive title for the Xbox One. It's an action game, combining fast and all-over-the-place movement with shooting and over-the-top weapons (unsurprising since this is from Insomniac Games, makers of Ratchet and Clank). Happening in a place called Sunset City, the game's story occurs starts after the grand launch of a new energy drink called Over Drive by a company called FizzCo. Soon after the festivities, during 'Horror Night' as it soon gets called, everyone who drank Over Drive transform into the OD, or mutant monsters. The game's protagonist is a former sanitation employee of FizzCo who suddenly finds herself (well, it's a Her in my game) being chased by the mutants but also possessing fantastic powers- like the ability to grind and slide on almost any surface, leap amazing heights and survive falls from pretty much any height. Basically, she becomes Sunset City's superhero, albeit a reluctant and kinda self-serving one (at least at the start). So, to escape the city, she has to go on various adventures, fight the OD and hostile humans, ally herself with various factions in the city and perhaps, along the way, become a true hero.

One of the cool cutscenes from the game.

Anyway, that aside, the game lets you customize your protagonist's appearance, including their clothing. OF COURSE, my heroine always goes barefoot once her adventures begin in earnest- my conceit being of course that no shoe she wears can take the punishment of all her stunts, so she doesn't wear any (and she of course dresses in basically just her swimsuit or undies because it's sexy heheh).
The nice part here is that Sunset Overdrive's character models are pretty awesome- well-detailed and excellent, and I have to say it has some of the nicest bare feet I've seen in-game. But the best part is the wonderful detail of sound- when she walks, her footsteps SOUND bare- even on various surfaces such as metal floors, concrete, gravel- bare footsteps everywhere and it's pretty much perfect. If you love that detail as much as I do (which many games don't get right), you will love this game immediately.

The combination of great character model and sound makes this game a real treat.

Aside from that, the high resolution of the graphics gives a great view of our heroine, and nice sole views often as she runs or swings around for the most part. The camera isn't as able to zoom in like in Skyrim, for example, but it gives a great view more often than not. In any case, I have to say that a game like this, which you will play hours on end, never looks old since the character you see onscreen is such a pleasure to watch. Then there are the cutscenes, some of which give really nice sole views, and reflect what your character is wearing at the time. The story itself is entertaining and will hold your attention at least.

The story is often silly, with lots of breaking the fourth wall. But it's all in good fun.

I have never been a big fan of action games, particularly ones that have you grinding or sliding around like a super-powered Tony Hawk. But the ease of controls, the intuitive and enjoyable way you can move and shoot, the beautiful graphics, the cool character and the vibrantly-colored world you can roam in just worked and got my vote. This has become my favorite game on my Xbox One, and in truth, made me truly happy I got the console. I am fully looking forward to more content as DLC and perhaps a sequel in the future!

For now though, check out the videos I have for Sunset Overdrive on the channel. I am intending to post a LOT (already have five episodes posted), including going through the main campaign/story mode and some other vids. So enjoy the Adventures of my girl, Hayley Hotfoot! I'm sure she'll capture barefoot fans' hearts as she did mine.
But the right to service and massage her feet are mine alone hahaha!

Fable Legends: Winter (Xbox One, PC)

The coolest barefoot videogame babe ever!

Sorry for the long absence, fellow footfans, but I've been busy in other matters. That, plus there really haven't been many new things to blog about, sadly. But hopefully this will change as new games arrive and the Next-Gen of games becomes truly the Now-Gen. I am looking forward to quite a few games and games-to-be-announced, but for now let's get onto what we have at hand.

This barefoot babe and the game she belongs to was announced quite a long time ago, but I only really discovered her recently in the hubbub of media shown off at E3 2014. And a good thing too, for the lovely Winter looks to be one truly cool barefoot babe (haha). Winter is one of the four playable heroes in the upcoming Fable Legends, a multi-player fantasy brawler exclusive to Xbox One.
As the Hero of Will, Winter is a strong-willed yet fun-loving and mischievous mage, powerful with frost and ice-based magic. But refreshingly, she doesn't dress fully covered up like your usual frosty character- in fact, she's got quite a sexy outfit, a sort of tribal or shamanic costume, with leggings that nicely leave her feet completely bare. It's a bit of a nice detail that as she walks, she leaves frosty bare footprints in her wake.
I think Winter is pretty cute with her 'horny' hairstyle, and her snappy personality (even with the requisite ice quips), and I'm sure she'll be a favorite with footfans. The video below, a CG cinematic of Fable Legends, gives some views of her, but now quite a good sole shot or so yet. I doubt that there will be good ingame footage or views, but hopefully there will be good cinematics or cutscenes that will show off her cold soles for our pleasure.

Winter is one of the four heroes playable in this upcoming Xbox One fantasy brawler.

Of course, I have to admit that while Winter's bare soles may be nice to look at, they may not be the best feet to fondle or worship with a kiss or so- which may be akin to us sticking our tongue at a frozen flagpole. OUCH! Well, in this case maybe it's better we just admire from a distance. Heheh. I already own an Xbox One, so it's possible I may get Fable Legends when it comes out (as long as there's a single-player mode), so expect more footage of Winter when the game comes out in the months ahead.

Ramlethal Valentine (Guilty Gear Xrd SIGN)

Never thought I'd ever be jealous of a book...heheh.

Okay, Next-Gen fighters are coming in the near future, even though not all fighting game companies have revealed their cards. One of the confirmed coming new beat 'em ups is ArcSystemWorks' latest and seemingly greatest installment of their much-beloved Guilty Gear series. Guilty Gear Xrd SIGN will be coming to arcades before heading to PS4 and presumably XBOne eventually. The game has impressed me with some truly dynamic angles with its cinematic cutscene-ingame attacks, and manic action that the series is known for. Sadly none of the existing female characters in the game- including the truly delectable Milia is barefoot, leaving footfans a bit high and dry with this new brawler.

Well, fear not! Apparently there will be a barefooted beauty in the game after all. The prospective unshod lovely is none other than Ramletherl Valentine, a new character recently introduced in the game's Arcade Version Opening Cinematic (posted below).

Guilty Gear Xrd SIGN's cinematic intro (Arcade)

Ramletherl is apparently the game's Final Boss and one tough cookie! She is currently supposedly a non-playable character but many speculate she'll be a usable fighter eventually, perhaps in the console versions. Anyway, when I first saw this super-powered boss (via the interesting angle we get in the Opening), I had thought she was wearing sandals. Well, apparently this is NOT the case, and as the artwork above shows (I am not sure if the art is official, but it certainly looks of high enough quality to be so), Miss Valentine has some kind of strapless plates attached to the top part of her feet, but otherwise there is nothing else on them- making her effectively barefoot. Her beautiful looks and cute voice are enchanting, and her sudden burst of menace at the end of her speech makes me intrigued at her character. All that plus I am wanting to give those toes and soles of her a thorough kissing. Heheh...

Nice to finally look forward to a Guilty Gear game for a change- heck, the only other barefoot character in the damn game is male, dammit. Whew! I'll keep on this like a hawk and try to get more images of Valentine that show off her lovely assets. Stay tuned!

Fighter Within Gameplay Trailer (XBox One)

Some impressive-looking fighting is coming on XBox One. On Kinect.

At this point in time, I am really saddened that quite a few of the big name fighting games have seemingly gone into a sort of hiatus when it comes to releasing sequels to their fighters. Granted, we already have more than enough fighting games with barefoot babes to last us for the duration, but new games are golden and always great to look forward to. Perhaps it's just a phase, so let's hope that new beat 'em ups with gorgeous, next-gen soles will appear in due time.

So this is why anything new and shiny is to be regarded with excitement- even if it is a Kinect game which really doesn't sit well with me (or many gamers for that matter). Sigh. Anyways, Ubisoft's Kinect-controlled fighter, Fighter Within was announced some time ago, and it debuted with a trailer showing off some live actors and models getting prepped for the game, which was quite meh. This time though, FINALLY, we get to see more of the in-game performers which really do look impressive to me. Really, the character models in FW look quite detailed, and the character designs are pretty varied- from the ninja guy to the Muay Thai Tong Po lookalike to the old master and, well, of course the ladies. Oh, the ladies!

At least two of the babes we see are (mostly) barefoot, wearing the traditional martial arts wraps or instep guards- I hope fully-barefoot alternate costumes or customization is in the game. The models have a real-world grittiness or hardness to them, which I kinda find refreshing compared to the usual overly-perfect ladies of beat 'em ups (with respect- I love me my indestructible, unblemished fighter babes), and the fighting looks vicious and, yep, sexy.

The big uh-oh of course is that this is a Kinect fighter. I have to get a Kinect as well as an XBox One, and really- chances are this game will control like a joke. It will probably never be regarded as a serious fighter by the mainstream FG community, and at worse may just be another addition to the junk pile of Kinect fighters. OR it may actually turn out awesome. Who knows?
In any case, based on the trailer above I'll continue keeping tabs on this title. It's not too far away and with Killer Instinct arriving on XBox One as well, there's a growing number of reasons to give MS's console a look later next month. For now, enjoy the trailer and the fetching lady fighters Within.

Mysterious Female in Killer Instinct (XBox One)

Who is this lethal lady?

UPDATE: Killer Instinct Central just posted that this newcomer is an all-new character to the KI universse, and her name is apparently Sadira. No other info though. But I'm sure we'll have more updates on this femme fatale very soon.

So far the upcoming Killer Instinct hasn't panned out yet for us foot fans, but it has just taken a nice step into the right direction with the debut of a new female character. Well, I assume she's not really new but a returning fighter- which most seem to agree on that this is probably Kim Wu, albeit with a darker twist or redesign that all of the characters seem to have gotten going into the game. I agree it's most surely Kim, since she is wearing sandals/leggings that reveal her toes and heels, though sadly the clog-like claw thingies she has prevents her from being actually barefoot. I'm still hoping that Maya the barefoot Amazon Queen returns someday in this game, but for now- at least there's one fighter I can get interested in (kinda) this game. Let's keep our fingers crossed for a barefoot babe in the new KI eventually.

Fighter Within Revealed (Xbox One)

Awesome.

While the longtime fighters like Tekken and Streetfighter seem to be in hiatus these days, new fighters are still coming in the near future, a couple for the upcoming XBox One. We already know about Killer Instinct (3), but sadly that appears to be, for the start at least, pretty slim pickings for us footfans- there will only be 6 fighters out at launch, with 2 DLC coming after- while I am hoping for barefoot Amazon Maya to make it in earlier than later, that seems to be a remote chance. So for now at least, the new KI is for fans of leathery males and weird monster fighters... Ugh.
Thankfully, another new beat 'em up was just revealed at the recent Gamescom 2013, and it has more promising visuals that footfans will be liking a lot. The Fighter Within from Ubisoft has at least one barefoot (well, near barefoot with the cloth wraps/bandages) female fighting fury in the roster, with more hopefully in the wings. The current shown barefoot babe is an Oriental karate-kicking hottie named Van, who seems to be a combination of Pai Chan and Chun-Li, with footwear from Ibuki. Heheh.

I just can't resist a barefoot martial arts catfight.

Anyway, the catch here is- it's a KINECT fighter. AACK! Kinect means goofy movements and you looking utterly weird when you're playing this. Well, the producers promise 1-to-1 movement with the new Kinect, but darn- this is more workout than simple fighting game. Still, the graphics and character models seem to be pretty cool, I like the KOs and the graphics, and it's about time there's a game that's more based on realism than ever before. The only thing is- this had better be damn awesome to get me to buy a Kinect, never mind an XBox One.

Still, it's a new fighter, with barefoot babes, and it kinda looks nice. I'll keep an eye on this one at least. This is due out in the holidays, perhaps just after the XB1 launch. You can check out more art, character bios and a couple of vids over here.
