King of Fighters XIV: Luong Action!

We take on KOF's newest and sexiest femme fatale.

The King of Fighters franchise has never been a good source of barefoot babes- in terms of footfan faves, SNK has few overall- usually just Mai Shiranui when she goes half-barefoot in the Real Bout games. So it was with quite a bit of excitement that I looked forward to the latest King of Fighters game- King of Fighters XIV. ONE new barefoot babe- just ONE. But, well, she's hot.

She's the sexy and seductive Luong from the Kim Team. Described as the lover of Kim's mentor Gang-Li, Luong has all the signs of a temptress- from her slinky features to her limber fighting style, this lady is no newbie and quite the player. Her outfit isn't overly skimpy- in fact, she's pretty much covered up all over- except for the parts we like- basically her toes, heels and, well, most of her soles. Her super attack (or final?) is hot as heck, and I really dig her design. Definitely hotter than Chae Lim or Momo (other barefoot babes in the whole KOF series so far), and she does give Mai Shiranui a run for her money. Here's to her appearing again in future KOFs. For now though, you can see her on the PS4 brawler (which is sporting some nicer visuals thanks to the latest patch).

Laura Matsuda (Streetfighter V)

A Barefoot Beauty from Brazil joins the Great Brawl!

 Just officially revealed today is the latest fighter for the upcoming Streetfighter V. Her name is Laura Matsuda, and unlike other fighters who have come from Brazil, this lovely lass is a master of Jujuitsu- which means lots of grapples and limb-locking moves. She certainly is stunning with her curvaceous figure and long hair- of course it's her distinct footwear (or lack of, heheh) that is our main point of interest. Of course, the 'instep guard' thing has been done before, such as with the as-yet MIA Juri Han (whom we hope returns to SFV eventually).

I really, really wish Laura here was totally barefooted. Still, I have to say that I am so far loving this newest barefoot SF Babe- particularly how her feet are probably the best-looking 'default' bare feet in the franchise so far- they actually look feminine for the most part, and they are very- um, expressive if you see how her toes look during various moves. I think Capcom certainly referred to real-life martial artists' anatomy when they were doing her movements. I also in particular am really happy with her KO Pose (yes, I have seen some gameplay vids) which give a nice view of her unconscious face and also gives a nice sole view. My reservations with her outfit aside, I am looking forward to seeing more of Laura in action. Hopefully she isn't the last Barefoot Babe in Streetfighter V.

For now though, I am happy that the future looks bright for this future fighting game. Laura is certainly one babe I won't mind getting a foot stomp from... hahaha!

Ramlethal Valentine is in the House! (Guilty Gear Xrd SIGN PS4)

Gorgeous anime-style fighting action from Guilty Gear Xrd on PS4.

It's been a long wait, but last week Guilty Gear Xrd SIGN arrived on the PS4 (exclusive). This awesome fighting sequel is one of the most eye-catchingly pretty fighting games I've ever seen, thanks to the vibrant colors, graphics, characters and camera angles that punctuate the flashy action. But of course, the best thing about the game for us foot fans is Ramlethal Valentine, the one single barefoot babe in the game. Ram-chan is the game's Final Boss (at least initially), a seemingly emotionless superbabe bent on destroying humanity (so awesome!). Aside from being as cute as a button, she perhaps has some of the nicest-looking, well-drawn and detailed feet I've seen (in both her artwork and her in-game model). Even better, her intros always give lovely and lingering focus on her kissable feet, from the sole view in one and from the top on another- easily the cameraman knew what was really worth locking his lens on. Heheh...

Anyways, aside from her cuteness and pretty-much-bare feet, Ram-chan's animations are pretty cool- she has a nice, sexy walk which is accented by nice, fleshy footsteps- and her attacks are cat-like and graceful. She's definitely my favorite character in the game- if only I-No and Millia were able to shed their boots... oh well.

Gladiator Decapre Action! (Ultra Streetfighter IV, PS3/X360)

In case you haven't been paying attention to fighting game news, the Digital Upgrade version of Ultra Streetfighter IV is now available for download on PSN and XBox Live. The update will set you back $14.99. If you preordered, you'll get the special alternate costumes for the new fighters as an extra, including the nice, barefooted Gladiator costume for Decapre. Now, I've posted a couple of vids here showing off Decapre in this sexy outfit in action,  although they're not from my own channel. I plan to get the PC version of the game, which will be out in August.

Looking at the vids though, while I certainly like the costume, it pales in comparison to the stuff afforded by mods in SSFIVAE, and definitely the bare feet model used by Capcom is inferior to that used by modders in either AE or SFxTekken. I'll just wait for modders to get their hands on Ultra to have a really nice barefoot Decapre. For now though, no reason to wait till August to see the Demented Doll in barefooted action.

Yep, my new favorite Boss Babe.

I've featured the cute AND sexy new Final Boss lady Ramlethal Valentine from Guilty Gear Xrd SIGN before, and this won't be the last given that I am totally loving this new videogame villainess. I mean, just look at her. The pic above of course is her Official Character Art from the game, and I am happy that they did not disappoint in drawing her pretty-much bare feet- I have to say, she has big feet for a girl, and those long, delicate-looking toes look simply perfect. I have to say this is a no-brainer fave for any foot-loving gamer worth their salt. Heheh. Really though- what ARE those things wrapped around her feet? What do you call them? Why wear them at all? Heh.

Anyway, I am also loving her art as it's drawn kinda like how you'd see her- from below, as she's floating above you, soles in your face. MAN that would be a sight to see before the end of the world- well, the end if she's not stopped by the Guilty Gear fighters.

The arcade version of Guilty Gear Xrd SIGN will be getting Ram-chan as a playable character sometime in April. Hopefully the upcoming console versions (GGXrd is coming to PS3 and PS4 within the year) will have her playable out of the box.

Can't wait to see more of this lovely goddess of destruction soon. And later, in full HD on my PS4 (when I buy it). Heheh. For now, enjoy the art of Ram-chan!

Ramlethal Valentine, Part Deux (Guilty Gear Xrd SIGN)

Guilty Gear Xrd's Boss is reason enough to get this game.

I posted some weeks ago about this lovely and lethal boss babe, Ramlethal Valentine (the English subtitles mistook her name spelling as Ramletherl) from Guilty Gear Xrd SIGN. Back then, we hadn't yet gotten a good look at Ram-chan ingame (just the brief look at her from afar in the Arcade Opening Cinematic), and no full-body art of her was available. We DID have a fullbody fan art of her, which we really liked and wished was accurate, showing her barefoot save for some odd wrap-thing around her instep. Anyway, I've found another artwork of her, with nice views of her soles!

Well, good news is that YES, indeed, our lovely Ramlethal is indeed barefooted, as befitting a floating super-powered villain babe. We FINALLY get a good look at her in-game at GGXrd's Arcade mode, including her wonderful Intro Cutscene that nicely shows her off feet-first with a lovely view of her sexy soles and toes. A couple of arcade runs of the game has the cutsene, but the vid above cuts to the chase and shows the Boss fight intro and battle right away- check it out!

I am really wanting this game already (it's coming to PS3 and PS4) and I want to see more of 'Ram-chan' as much as possible. She has been confirmed to be playable and should have her own extensive Story Mode cinematics and all the trimmings. Guilty Gear Xrd SIGN is looking to be a footfan must-have for me in the Next Gen lineup of fighters! Here's to more barefoot babes in the game somehow (Maybe a redesigned Jam or Baiken will be barefoot..?), but even now I am stoked for GGXrd! Heheh.

Fighter Within Gameplay Trailer (XBox One)

Some impressive-looking fighting is coming on XBox One. On Kinect.


At this point in time, I am really saddened that quite a few of the big name fighting games have seemingly gone into a sort of hiatus when it comes to releasing sequels to their fighters. Granted, we already have more than enough fighting games with barefoot babes to last us for the duration, but new games are golden and always great to look forward to. Perhaps it's just a phase, so let's hope that new beat 'em ups with gorgeous, next-gen soles will appear in due time.

So this is why anything new and shiny is to be regarded with excitement- even if it is a Kinect game which really doesn't sit well with me (or many gamers for that matter). Sigh. Anyways, Ubisoft's Kinect-controlled fighter, Fighter Within was announced some time ago, and it debuted with a trailer showing off some live actors and models getting prepped for the game, which was quite meh. This time though, FINALLY, we get to see more of the in-game performers which really do look impressive to me. Really, the character models in FW look quite detailed, and the character designs are pretty varied- from the ninja guy to the Muay Thai Tong Po lookalike to the old master and, well, of course the ladies. Oh, the ladies!

At least two of the babes we see are (mostly) barefoot, wearing the traditional martial arts wraps or instep guards- I hope fully-barefoot alternate costumes or customization is in the game. The models have a real-world grittiness or hardness to them, which I kinda find refreshing compared to the usual overly-perfect ladies of beat 'em ups (with respect- I love me my indestructible, unblemished fighter babes), and the fighting looks vicious and, yep, sexy.

 The big uh-oh of course is that this is a Kinect fighter. I have to get a Kinect as well as an XBox One, and really- chances are this game will control like a joke. It will probably never be regarded as a serious fighter by the mainstream FG community, and at worse may just be another addition to the junk pile of Kinect fighters. OR it may actually turn out awesome. Who knows?
 In any case, based on the trailer above I'll continue keeping tabs on this title. It's not too far away and with Killer Instinct arriving on XBox One as well, there's a growing number of reasons to give MS's console a look later next month. Tae Ioroi (Lily Bergamo, PS4)

I currently know nothing about the bandaged Tae. But I like her already.

Just hot off its debut announcement at Sony's Pre-TGS Event is an upcoming title from Goichi Suda (Suda 51) of Grasshopper Manufacture, which was recently acquired by GungHo. The game is called Lily Bergamo, which will be an online title for Playstation 4. All we know about it at this point is that it will star a female protagonist named Tae Ioroi (we assume it's the girl with the interesting outfit in the trailer below). Other than that, some concept art has been released. What I do know is that Tae is one lovely-looking femme fatale and she wears our kind of footwear (which nicely leaves most of her beautiful feet quite, quite bare) as seen in a wonderful closeup.  That's really all I need to be interested in this- but really, it's a Suda 51 title- what can we expect from the maker of Killer 7 and Lollipop Chainsaw but something pretty off-the-wall and sexy?

Hopefully we'll be seeing a lot of the lovely, mysterious 'Lily' and her sexy feet in the months ahead and as the game is released next year on PS4 (hoping it's released outside Japan of course). Mysterious Female in Killer Instinct (XBox One)

UPDATE: Killer Instinct Central just posted that this newcomer is an all-new character to the KI universse, and her name is apparently Sadira. No other info though. But I'm sure we'll have more updates on this femme fatale very soon.

So far the upcoming Killer Instinct hasn't panned out yet for us foot fans, but it has just taken a nice step into the right direction with the debut of a new female character. Well, I assume she's not really new but a returning fighter- which most seem to agree on that this is probably Kim Wu, albeit with a darker twist or redesign that all of the characters seem to have gotten going into the game. I agree it's most surely Kim, since she is wearing sandals/leggings that reveal her toes and heels, though sadly the clog-like claw thingies she has prevents her from being actually barefoot. I'm still hoping that Maya the barefoot Amazon Queen returns someday in this game, but for now- at least there's one fighter I can get interested in (kinda) this game. Let's keep our fingers crossed for a barefoot babe in the new KI eventually.

Fighter Within Revealed (Xbox One)

Awesome.

While the longtime fighters like Tekken and Streetfighter seem to be in hiatus these days, new fighters are still coming in the near future, a couple for the upcoming XBox One. We already know about Killer Instinct (3), but sadly that appears to be, for the start at least, pretty slim pickings for us footfans- there will only be 6 fighters out at launch, with 2 DLC coming after- while I am hoping for barefoot Amazon Maya to make it in earlier than later, that seems to be a remote chance. So for now at least, the new KI is for fans of leathery males and weird monster fighters... Ugh.
Thankfully, another new beat 'em up was just revealed at the recent Gamescom 2013, and it has more promising visuals that footfans will be liking a lot. The Fighter Within from Ubisoft has at least one barefoot (well, near barefoot with the cloth wraps/bandages) female fighting fury in the roster, with more hopefully in the wings. The current shown barefoot babe is an Oriental karate-kicking hottie named Van, who seems to be a combination of Pai Chan and Chun-Li, with footwear from Ibuki. Heheh.

Anyway, the catch here is- it's a KINECT fighter. AACK! Kinect means goofy movements and you looking utterly weird when you're playing this. Well, the producers promise 1-to-1 movement with the new Kinect, but darn- this is more workout than simple fighting game. Still, the graphics and character models seem to be pretty cool, I like the KOs and the graphics, and it's about time there's a game that's more based on realism than ever before. The only thing is- this had better be damn awesome to get me to buy a Kinect, never mind an XBox One.

Still, it's a new fighter, with barefoot babes, and it kinda looks nice. I'll keep an eye on this one at least. This is due out in the holidays, perhaps just after the XB1 launch. You can check out more art, character bios and a couple of vids over here.

Sakura 'Juri Costume' Mod (Super Streetfighter IVAE PC)

It's been a while since I last posted about Super Streetfighter IV AE (PC), but yeah, there are still cool mods coming out for it (though not enough barefoot babe ones). Here's the latest one for none other than Ryu's No. 1 fan, Sakura Kasugano. The mod by new modder Ayiep has the wholesome schoolgirl cosplaying as the series' TKD Bad Girl, Juri Han. Now, I don't know if this is in the same vein as the classic 'Trophy' series by Ohhho (Remember those?), but this is undoubtably cool. Even if she's only semi-barefoot, I still love this outfit- anyway, can't hurt that I'm pitting her against other totally-barefoot babes. Enjoy the vids and lots of butt-kicking soles flying all over the place...

Leo Kliesen: Tekken Tag Tournament 2's New Barefoot Babe!

Makoto, move over- another barefoot tomboy just stole my foot-loving heart.

Okay, I knew going into my purchase of Tekken Tag Tournament 2 that the barefoot babe count wouldn't be stellar- but it actually turned out better than I thought. We've still got Asuka, Jun and Kunimitsu to customize into Hakama and Footguards, and a fully-barefoot Christie Monteiro and Angel. Eventually we'll also have Unknown and her black goo-covered but bare feet as another playable. But in all my predictions I would never have thought we'd get a new fully-barefoot babe from TTT2 in the person of Leo Kliesen. Yep, THAT Leo- the androgynous youth first seen in Tekken 6, whom we had written off long ago due to her insistence on appearing male in pretty much every way.
But really, this isn't another case of 'Poison' transsexual gender-bending; at most, it's just cross-dressing and masquerade. Prince Sapphire ring a bell? Leo is 100 percent all woman, flat chest and all. There is no ifs or buts about it- Leo is Eleanore from the very beginning, though the mystery of her actual gender was used as her schtick to much effect. Even after a pretty public reveal of Leo's true gender by Katsuhiro Harada during a Tekken Blood Vengeance screening in Germany, there were still those who doubted. I guess it's the same with Bigfoot or the Lochness monster- you have to see a body before people believe... and well, take a gander at Leo's bod!

Yeah, she's got broad shoulders (well, everyone does in Tekken) and a flat chest, but those hips, calves and feet are definitely, unmistakably female...

Like everyone else in Tekken Tag 2, Leo gets several swimsuit costumes as part of the game's "Bikini Bundle" Downloadable Content. Leo actually is a bit special- she gets not one but two sets of swimwear. One is a set of three Bikini Shorts outfit (kinda like Asuka's) where we do see her usually hidden breasts perk up a bit thanks to the bikini top. Yep, they're real, folks. But sadly, like every other character, Leo is wearing sandals with her bikinis... DAMN! It would have been over there but for Leo's second set of beach clothing- three 'Surf' Outfits that consist of a tight, long-sleeved top and pretty short shorts. And as a surfer should... Leo's barefoot in these outfits! So if you take a gander at Leo's bare footsies, I think there's now really no doubt that this person is a girl- no guy has feet those pretty.

So now I think Tekken Tag 2 just became that much hotter- still not as awesome as Tekken 6, but now at least it actually is a lot better than games like Dead or Alive 3 and DOA Ultimate- both classics whose barefoot appeal lie in just one girl (Hitomi). And there's quite a bit more to love from TTT2, even if a lot of stuff from Tekken 6 was omitted or changed weirdly. Plus there's hope- the game may receive more content as DLC in the future- who's to say barefoot outfits or characters are out of the question? Well, we can always hope.

For now though, I'm really happy with a new barefoot muse to see in action- and well, I'm seeing Leo in a whole new light. I really AM a foot guy after all. A week ago, Leo wasn't anywhere on my radar as a prospet. Now, after seeing her show off her legs in TTT2... I'm thinking of all the things I'd want to do with her toes. Heheh.

For now, enjoy the vids with this kick-ass tomboy- actually TWO since Asuka's in the vids as well- and expect more from her (and other babes in TTT2) to come. It's been a long wait to Tekken Tag 2, and I'm glad it has paid off quite well. From here, I'm hoping for more barefoot content to be added, and perhaps word of the next Tekken game to come. Tekken Tag Tournament 2 Arrives: Should Barefoot Fans Care?

At least we can still rely on the Kazamas in Hakamas for TTT2.

 It's been quite a wait, but early this week, Tekken Tag Tournament 2 has finally arrived for consoles (PS3 and Xbox360). Now, I've been monitoring this game ever since it was first teased by the producer in late 2010. I watched it online, in arcades and all that time I've been studying its prospects for our enjoyment. I've had great hopes for it, given that the previous game in the Tekken franchise, Tekken 6, is one of the best games with barefoot babes to enjoy (thanks to the cool and sexy Character Customization). But sadly, all signs pointed to TTT2 falling short of equalling T6's soleful content.

Based on the arcade version, we knew that the Character Customization System had been altered, made a bit simpler. Sadly, separate Hand and Foot customization was omitted, with tops and bottoms coming with included hand and footwear. Along the way, someone at the dev team forgot to include barefoot options or costumes. No, scratch that... someone forgot to include barefoot options or costumes FOR THE FEMALES. Yes, to add insult to injury many of the male characters can be barefoot, but not the ladies. That didn't change in the months that followed- there was no way to change the existing system. All we could hope for was that additional costumes with bare feet built in were to be added to the console version. Well, how did that pan out? If you love barefoot babes, would you be satisfied with what TTT2 has to offer?




Sadly, Lili's bare soles are lost to us... for now. Perhaps future DLC will give her barefoot outfits again...?

For starters, Christie Monteiro still has her default classic P1 Outfits (The Capoeira Costume) with her barefoot. Aside from that single costume though, she has no other outfit or even a bottom that has her baring her soles- everything else comes with included footwear. Then there's Asuka Kazama- her classic Aikido/Martial Arts outfit from Tekken 5 and 6 (with the headband) is GONE. You can, however, buy a Hakama and Footguards set in the in-game store. But again, aside from the Hakama/Footguard combo (Asuka has 2 different Hakama), Asuka has no other barefoot costume or option; same goes for Jun Kazama.


Unfortunately there's no uniform or basic Barefoot Customization in TTT2. We have to rely on individual outfit pieces... of which there are painfully few out of the box.

Everyone else, all the girls who were from Tekken 6, also have no Barefoot Customization or costume. As of right now, Lili, whose soles we bared and enjoyed in Tekken 6, cannot remove her boots now. Neither can Nina, Xiaoyu and Alisa. But wait- there's the Extra DLC Characters and the Big Bikini Bundle, which comes with content not seen in the arcade versions. So, what is the footie content after DL-ing the new stuff?

 

Awaiting at the end of Arcade Mode is Unknown- Final Boss and one of the few barefoot babes in the game (Don't worry, she'll be playable eventually as DLC).




Well, we get ONE fully-barefoot babe in the returning Angel, and well, all I can say is that her bare feet look... heavenly. Unfortunately, Angel has no other barefoot costume aside from her default P1 Costume. She actually has Hakama and Footguards, but who needs them when she's already fully barefoot (well, there are those here who actually prefer the footguards, I know)? Then there's Kunimitsu, the sexy ninja renegade who also has Hakama and Footguards in her purchasable costume pieces. I'll post vids of these babes as soon as I can.

And finally, the BIKINI BUNDLE DLC. Unfortunately, while there are certainly lots of skin being shown off,  the feet remain in footwear, as pretty much all of the bikinis come paired with shoes or sandals- which cannot be toggled. To be fair, some of the sandals show off a lot of the girls' feet in any case, but if you're like me, to whom full-barefoot, with contact to the ground with the soles is paramount, it's very disappointing.

BUT WAIT! I had almost lost all hope... and there then was a pretty awesome surprise waiting for me as I checked each characters' swimwear... I found that ONE babe actually got a fully-barefoot costume in the Swimsuit DLC. That girl- whom I now declare as Tekken Tag 2's Barefoot Muse- is none other than- get this- Leo Kliesen. Yes, THAT Leo. LEO is now the Barefoot Babe of the Moment... who'd have ever thought that could happen? I'll be taking her on in-depth in another article. For now though, check out the new vids with the Hakama Kazama team of Asuka and Jun Kazama.

So, should Foot Fans rush out to get Tekken Tag Tournament 2? Well, if you're a real fighting game fan, you probably already have it anyway. In any case, it's an awesome fighter- perhaps the most chock-full of content I've seen in years. The barefoot babe content by default is kinda low- but this game DOES have potential, particularly in KOs (even if the sexy win animations in Tekken 6 are gone) and probably added content in the future. I'll show you the goods soon enough. Don't write off TTT2 just yet!

Mila, Barefoot MMA Fighter! (Dead or Alive 5)

Say hello to Mila, footfans!

Here's some good news for us footfans for the upcoming Dead or Alive 5. Previously the only reason for us to get excited about this game is Hitomi, our barefoot karate princess, in her now-returned Karate Gi. Well, there's another barefoot (or at least, semi-barefoot) babe in the game, and that's the new girl Mila. Described as an 'MMA Fighter', Mila fights with Muay Thai and kickboxing, and dresses similar to Brad Burns from VF5. Her default outfit has her wearing those ubiquitous martial arts wraps/footguards that leave her toes and heels bare. I'm crossing my fingers that she has at least one or more fully-barefoot outfits in her wardrobe.

Anways, this is good news for a game that has so far been otherwise bare in terms of bare feet; Hitomi's Karate Gi is our one only other option- it seems that every one of the girls is wearing sandals or shoes in their bikini outfits, which sucks. Hoping that Mila bucks the trend somehow, seeing as she's a bit of a break from the usual appearance of a 'DOA Girl'. At the very least though, we now have both her and Hitomi as muses in the game. I'll be keeping an eye of DOA5 as the release date nears (I'll be a bit busy with Tekken Tag 2, but whatever). For now, check out the vid above and see if Mila makes you dream of MMA Feet...

Tekken Tag 2 'Fight Lab' Trailer

Tekken Tag 2's 'Fight Lab' trailer holds lots of promise.

As the days count down to September and the release of the next big fighting game, Tekken Tag Tournament 2, I'm still hoping that the barefoot babe content of this hot brawler will get even better with the final version. We do know that most fighters will be getting sexy swimwear, but so far we've only seen these bikinis worn with sandals- sigh. That hasn't changed as of yet, even if there still may be a chance that these outfits may be customizable for bare feet or that there will other swimsuits for the girls that will come without footwear. Hey, it's slim but not impossible.

Anyway, the latest TTT2 trailer, which shows off the game's 'Fight Lab' (a fancy, mini-game and wackiness-heavy training mode) gives a couple of bits that I find kinda hopeful. One, we get a look at Lili Rochefort once again getting 'armor-broken' in the mode and undressed to her bikini. On the one hand, she's wearing sandals (as seen before). On the other, the way the shoes are attached to her feet make it seem that they can be easily removed, and bam, she's barefoot and perfect. It's just a wee bit of leather (even virtual leather)- please, Tekken Devs, give us the option to remove it! Heheh...

Another cool bit in the trailer we can note is that at one point Combot (the Player Character) is confronted by a giant version of Feng. Perhaps we can choose what enemy to face giant-size? This would be a treat for GTS fans, I'm sure- ten times so for me if we can face a barefoot giantess. We'll just have to wait and see... the Fight Lab looks crazy and just chock-full of weirdness... if only for that, I'm going to enjoy it.

Still hoping Harada does the right thing for us footfans and gives us that little bit of customization to make this already-awesome game absolutely PERFECT. Cross your fingers and toes, footie fans... it's still quite a bit to release!

Ibuki 'Lady Deadpool' Mod (Streetfighter X Tekken)

Unusual? Definitely. Sexy? Yes. Awesome? Hell yes!

Here's a pretty unexpected mod from modder Siegfried921, since it turns the bubbly-cute kunoichi Ibuki into a female version of the fast-talking, masked mercenary Deadpool from Marvel Comics. Well, aside from being female, this 'Lady Deadpool' is also barefoot, which should please us footfans. Of course, she probably isn't really barefoot but wearing some kind of form-fitting, soft-soled toed-stockings/boots. On the other hand, she might also be actually really barefoot and   just have body paint that has her feet match the rest of her outfit. Well, whatever it is I just like how this mod looks, and it's darn hot and quite awesome to see. It certainly fits the agile ninja girl to a tee, and a great fit in Streetfighter X Tekken (although this mod was first made for Super Streetfighter IVAE).

Tekken Tag 2's Bikini Trailer

WHOA! Fanservice to the max! Up on top is the just-released trailer for Tekken Tag Tournament 2, which highlights their 'Bikini Bundle' DLC. As announced by Harada on Twitter earlier, the reported 150 Swimsuits gamers will get when they preorder their game include suits for the males and non-human characters as well as the Tekken Ladies. Have to say, the character models are FINE (trying to ignore all the man flesh though) and so far I am loving Kunimitsu's Watermelon Bikini (raised from the official Tekken artworks into actual game reality) and of course, Lili's eye-catching Swimsuit first seen in the Girls of Gaming magazine cover.

Of course, it has to be said that sadly barefoot fans are a bit on the short end given that the suits so far shown all include some sort of footwear (including the male suits). There's of course always the possibility that there will be barefoot swimsuits among the other bikinis/outfits not shown in the trailer, so hope springs eternal that TTT2 will be another barefoot babe game classic like Tekken 6 and the Soul Calibur games. It would also be nice if there was an actual option to remove the footwear from the bikini outfit ensembles, but that also remains to be seen.

Anyway, regardless it's plain to see that Tekken Tag 2 looks to be the most amazing Tekken home release ever, if only for sheer amount of extras and content. That plus the apparently exceptional quality of the graphics (supposedly its arcade-perfect or close to it) and gameplay makes this an No Brainer Buy. Hoping though that there's foot-friendly icing on this wonderful beat 'em up cake come release day. Stay tuned! I'll be keeping my eye on this game like a hawk.

Tekken Tag Tournament 2 Bikini Bundle

The first hint of bikinis in TTT2... sadly, with footwear.

Whoa, stuff has been happening lately with the upcoming fighters. First it was Dead or Alive 5, with their sexy outfit DLCs. Now it's Tekken Tag Tournament 2 drawing the fanservice card for their release. Gamers who preorder the game at various game dealers will receive (along with all the other bonuses) a so-called Bikini Bundle, that will give the characters 'over 100 swimsuits'! Yep, you read that right- OVER 100 SWIMSUITS. However, to rein in expectations, these will include swimwear for the male characters and even non-human fighters (like Kuma or Mokujin) as well as for the females.

Now the bad news- like DOA5, so far the screenshots showing the swimsuits have them worn with sandals or shoes. Man, this really sucks. What IS it with whoever designs these things? Swimsuits should be worn barefoot, dammit!!! This is like a waiter spitting in your soup as he serves it. The irritating part is that the males who are in their swimwear will probably be barefoot- AARGH... What the hell, Tekken Team? Not a foot fan among you? Where are the guys behind Tekken 6's awesome barefoot customization? MEH!

All I can do is hope that there are variants or swimsuits included in the bundle which have the girls barefoot, or that there will be a way to customize the girls shoeless. It's a slim chance, but what else can we do? With only about a month and a half left to release, there probably won't be any room for any changes (but hey, it can't hurt to try).


This would be ten times sexier if Julia and Xiaoyu kicked off those darn sandals and shoes... 

It may be a bit bleak, but heck- bikini beauties in Tekken is a good sign of things to come. If not in Tekken Tag 2, perhaps in the next generation of fighters we'll have more sex appeal and fan service. Certainly in this generation things look bright with games like VF5 Final Showdown (WOOHOO). Here's to us seeing Asuka and Lili's bare soles once again in battle...

DOA5 Bikinis: Team Ninja Blows It (Dead or Alive 5)

DOAU all over again... and not in a good way.

For the past couple of weeks, Dead or Alive 5 has been very promising for us barefoot fans. Contrary to what was originally perceived as a game that would be cutting down on the series' legacy of fan service, DOA5 has recently been announced to feature sexy swimsuits for its female cast once it arrives this coming September. However, as we see in the screens above, these skimpy outfits come with an unwelcome aspect- footwear. Okay, bikinis with sandals or high heels may do it for many guys out there, but for me, the shoes just ruin the whole affair.

It's really a pity- we can clearly see the character models' feet are nicely rendered and look very yummy... they don't need to be cooped up in those leather cages. Those soles need to kiss the earth!

Now, not all is lost- it IS known that the babes may have several swimsuits, and MAYBE one will have them barefoot. Maybe the shoes can be customized away? Then again, maybe not. Maybe, like before in DOAU, only Hitomi will be barefoot in her bikinis (hopefully) once again. Who knows? We'll just have to wait and see for more media from this fighter. Right now, I'm just disappointed. Well... nothing a session or two with the VF5FS girls won't remedy. Heheh... I'll keep on this like a hawk. It's still a long way till September.

Ten-Ten Barefoot Sparring (Naruto Shippuden)

Very cool animated ninja fighting from the Naruto Shippuden anime.

The Naruto anime is one of the biggest disappointments for me- it's a series full of ninja, yet sadly we only really get to see toes of any of the ninja babes' feet for 99.9 percent of the time, and none of them really go barefoot. If ONLY the ninja designs were made by Capcom- could you imagine Ibuki-esque ninja babes romping around in anime? Sigh... well, that all said, there are still occasional rare barefoot moments in Naruto... here's one of them. It's actually not in an episode, but in the Ending/Credits animation for the 15th Season. The animation, which shows off Naruto doing some friendly sparring with some friends/comrades, includes the lovely weapon-using Ten-Ten in a nice sexy workout look and bare feet. There's a closeup sole shot at the end, but it's actually from Naruto himself (agh). In any case this is a nice vid, nice music and just a little update for now to get you excited for some ninja-esque soles. Later then!
